Main Street Strength is a family owned and operated training and coaching community. Through health and strength skills development, we inspire a confidence in movement that motivates our students to attempt new physical endeavors at any age. We instill this confidence by providing a high quality facility, on-going coaching and accountability, and education for our members and coaches all in a fun, community environment.
As Rockland's only StrongFirst affiliate facility, we provide all encompassing guidance for joint health, strength, and conditioning that is based on research, math, and human physiology.
Our coaching is based on training principles from StrongFirst and Functional Range Conditioning.

Patrick is the dedicated father of two children, Camden and Ramona, and husband to his beloved wife, Rachel.
He has dedicated himself to the pursuit of health and performance for 15 years. He began his athletic career with high school crew, rowing single shells and winning state championships in 2007 and 2008. Through rowing, Patrick learned the benefits of consistent, organized training.
He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Before opening Main Street Strength, Patrick served as a Master Instructor facilitating education for new trainers at Equinox Fitness Clubs in New York City.
When working with students, Patrick focuses on safely establishing strong movement and dense work capacity. He uses the Functional Movement Screen, Function Range Conditioning, and StrongFirst to provide instruction based on evidence and fundamental training principles. He believes training should support and enable a student’s physical activity outside of the gym.
Rachel is an owner of Main Street Strength alongside her husband Patrick. Kettlebell and barbell training are her strong suits. As a mother of two, she has successfully trained through both pregnancies and beyond.
Rachel was a three sport athlete growing up, and excelled as a softball pitcher at her high school in NYC. Post-college, she has competed in amatuer powerlifting meets, in which she earned first place in her weight class at each meet.
Prior to owning Main Street Strength, Rachel was a Personal Training Manager at multiple Equinox Fitness Clubs in NYC.
Her certifications include: American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM-CPT), StrongFirst Level 1, StrongFirst Lifter, Pre & Post Natal, Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist (FRCms) and Precision Nutrition-1.
